This nonsense called common core needs to be removed from our schools. It's ridiculous that it takes 30 steps for a 2 step math problem. Stop making our children dumber!

When your 3rd grade children know the actual answers to all the multiplication questions on a test due to parents teaching times tables but your child scores low c's because their arrays are wrong there is a definite peoblem. Let me say I am open to knew ways of learning but this is no way to learn , is completely ridiculous and unrealistic in the real world and business. Why are we frustrating and confusing our children unnecessarily?

I do not believe in this method, don't understand it myself as an adult, it's not useful. It's for the most part the most useless thing I have seen taught this day in school.

Other states were able to go back to the "Old Fashion Way," all schools in Illinois should be able to also. This Common Core Math is ridiculous!

Ridiculous. A kid that had straight A's now failing math. And a teacher with 30 years experience trying to explain that it is Common Core, Get rid of this crap.

Why would my child to learn something that even a college graduate cannot comprehend. There was nothing wrong with the old way. I can do everyday activities without having to use common core. I use common sense. I hope my signature helps. My kids are just now starting school and I do not want them to struggle because I am unable to help them.
