Why do you feel the need to change something that works? Common Core is the most ridiculous tool in the math world I have ever seen. The Government is dumbing our children down in stead of helping
them to grow and become smarter.
Common Core is confusing our children and their teachers.

Private schooling looks better and better each day. The time that is taken away from my family each evening doing homework is ridiculous! Also each child learns at a different pace and requires different techniques. Treating each child the same isn't helping anyone. Also its frustrating that not enough time is spent to ensure the child(ren) understands the subject before moving on to the next. Very frustrated!

If the parents can't get it there is no way they can help the kids get. School is suppose to help your kids not make them feel totally inferior!!!! Get rid of this Common Core!!!!

This is not needed!Get Reall School is hard enough why make harder for kids and parents. And when you put GOD back in school you will be Blessed.

We are not robots. We all learn, study, and think differently. The answer still remains but to force our method of achieving the correct answer is absurd. This is both limiting the individuals that are capable of more and causing ill feelings (confusion, low self esteem) for the individuals who are not getting it. This goes against the natural thought process. This needs to stop.

Control needs to be returned to our local Districts! There is no opt-out of PARCC according to the State Board of Education....Show me this in legal text evidence if changed from last year. They must still offer it, but the child can politely refuse! How would they pass a law to force a child to take a test? So now the teacher is instructed by the State to be a Child Advocate and a Child Assessment Enforcer? So Bizarre! It is necessary to have all participate to see how the new CC standards are working they say. No need for that, we can all give them this information right now....FYI: THEY STINK, and everything that comes along with them Stinks even worse!!!!! Local Control is Best!!!!!!

Our children are too smart for this. We are looking to raise leaders not followers. Instead of implementation of a new way lets waste this money in a more practical way like teaching parents to help their children learn amd grow.
