This is bad for our state, and our children. Their intent is to continue to dumb down our children so they cannot make informed decisions.

This is an awful mess. We, The People, do not want our children all put on the same level of learning. I have an exceptionally bright student in my family and this is an absolute disaster.

Common Core is about creating workers not thinkers. Removing parents from the learning process makes it easier to indoctrinate and control our children. I am against government control in our schools, Luna should be retired from his position. Another reason not to vote for Otter next time around.

Retain the sovereignty of the State of Idaho and get out of Common Core. Control of what our children learn must be regulated by the collaborative efforts of parents, teachers and locally elected school board officials. The federal government has no Constitutional authority to be involved in any state's curriculum.

I work in an elementary K-3 public school. Common Core DOES NOT WORK. Common Core discourages creative teaching. Common Core is crippling an already struggling education system.

This common core is only setting our kids up to fail. Do we really want kids to be this frustrated and hate school? Do we need more of a drop out rate?

I AM APPALED TO THE EDUCATION OF THIS COMMON CORE. IT MAKES IT EADY FOR TEACHERS , BUT IT IS TEACHING THE SILENCE OF THINKING OF SOCIALIZEM. IM AM CONCERNED FOR OUR CHILDREN AND PRAY EVERY DAY THEY ARE GIUDED BY GOODNESS

I can't believe how many believe common core is just about the standards. There is so much more to it and many freedoms taken.

Taking direction from government on our child's education is allowing them to control our children and their future. Common Core is for common, not free people, we will not conform.

Get Common Core out of our school! Bonneville County

standardized tests give no usable data in the case of my daughter. She is special education, studying third grade material, but is tested at AGE-appropriate levels. She is given the same test as 7th graders even though she has not seen the material. This test gives no useful data of what she has learned or how her teachers or school are doing their jobs. Stop the testing madness and give our kids back the desire to learn.
