children learn differently. Teachers need to be able to have the freedom to decide. Stop government take over of our schools. It is bad enough now.

Thank you for the excellent article on student privacy! I'm in California, but this is happening to all of us. I've heard bits and pieces of the issue of data mining, but your article really helped bring the issue together for me.

I have a daughter with learning disabilities. This program will "cripple" her! We have to fight against this, we have to FIGHT FOR OUR KIDS!
We have to continue to teach our kids that no matter what is put in their life path that they can grow up to do or be what ever THEY WANT to do or be!
We have to work together and make our schools and government see that this is NOT A GOOD PROGRAM!!

Common Core, with it's data collection and high-stakes, high-stress testing is absolutely wrong for our kids AND educators. Many will profit from it's implementation, none of those will be the students it claims to benefit. Please, reject the federal dollars and the attached obligations, and do what's best for the students, give control to our local teachers and schools. Bonneville Co.

When 2+2 can equal 5 if the kid can articulate the reason eloquently enough, then we are in bigger trouble than I ever thought possible in this country.

The Common Core is a direct attack against one's God given right to freedom in how they choose to learn. It keep individuals from developing their own inherent talents and forces students to become part of a common mold, a robot.

Twin Falls. I request that common core be stopped in Idaho. Give the control back to our local districts and teachers to set local high standards which will be far higher than national standards and not subject our children to needless left wing curriculum. I further request that all personal and identifying information collected not be sent out of local schools and districts.
