use some common sense please get back to teaching ....you are responsible for representing us, so rescind this, I would like to know if your kids are in private schools and if not are you even aware of what is going on in your kids brains....

We're sick and tired of being "Grubered" about how great common core is for our kids. It's a damn lie and you know it. Contrary to your beliefs parents aren't as stupid as you think. Anyone pushing common core in our school system should be ashamed of yourself.

As an IDAHO parent I want my education to be controlled locally without data mining and lies being taught to change our history! As others, I am seriously considering home schooling if common core stays in Idaho!

The Govenor Otter endorsed the adoption of federal education standards, which were not finalized at that time, without a public debate. After reading the papers published by the Pioneer Institute, it is obvious that Common Core is bad for Idaho students and the country. The fact that Indiana and Oklahoma have dropped the standards and Louisiana has filed a lawsuit challenging the legality of Common Core shows that more people are waking to the problem of federal control of education. Education decisions need to be made at the local level.

I'm amazed that, as independent-minded Idahoans tend to be, we've accepted common core. That we are jumping through Federal hoops the get Federal dollars (which shouldn't be leaving the state in the first place!) is wrong.
