Aloha Richard, Perhaps there was a petition circulated earlier. She doesn't appear to accept the fact that our community opposes her permit. This is been an on going battle and we need everyone's support to stop her. Thank you so much for your support and input.

Why are we even discussing this again? Petitions were signed regarding this same property business proposals a couple years back. Nothing's changed.

As one of the closest and most immediately impacted, I strongly oppose 588 Kulaiwi Drive in Wailuku Heights II, running a commercial business of this magnitude in our residential neighborhood. This will cause unreasonable detriment to our community. Major areas that come to mind that will be detrimental to our immediate neighbors and our neighborhood: Noise, Traffic, Fire and Evacuation Issues, Safety and Parking and Pollution. If a permit is approved, this will force us and our neighbors to absorb the impact of this permit on and around our homes and the related loss in our property values that go with it. Wailuku Heights has been and continues to be home to many retirees, growing families, professionals and local business leaders, who moved into our neighborhood precisely because its’ unique location and peacefulness affords a quiet setting. It is for these reasons that we enforce the CC&R’s which have protected our beautiful community since they were written.

Commercial business should not be allowed in our residential neighborhood. Noise and increased traffic will affect many homeowners and negatively impact property values for all of us.

When we bought our lot in Wailuku Heights and built our house in 1992 we were told that this is a residential real estate and no commercial allowed. Would like to expect that people who go against the plans here should find other real estate in commercial areas. Any approved permits to the CC&R's to turn this area to commercial properties will change the respected neighbors who chose to live here as set forth in the CC&R's. Commercial tourist buses in this area should be banned. This is not the hollywood tours for homes of actors or wanna be individual(s) who would like to see that happen. Opposing all commercial set up shops at Wailuku Heights and commercial vehicles of any type that will wander daily in areas that they shouldn't be as well.

As a Wailuku Heights residence, I have witnessed the increased in traffic flow and noise. As a parent, I am concern with my child safety as well as others. With opening of a business this will only exacerbate this existing problem. The CCR's must be enforced to protect our community and quality of life.

I flatly opposed this permit. This is a Planned Residential Community and not a Mixed Use Zoning!

If the CC&R's, states no commercial business should be operated, then you CAN'T have a commercial business - period!

Wailuku Heights is a highly sought after residential neighborhood. It is known for its exquisite views, peace and tranquility. The existence of CC&R's are the added protection needed to maintain the peace and quiet of Wailuku Heights. It is vital that we adhere to our CC&R's. Allowing a business will establish significant precedence, inevitably allowing business to open in Wailuku Heights. The presence of Lona Ridge has already dramatically change the neighborhood dynamic with an increase in traffic flow and noise on our residential streets. The general principle is that, "anything that negatively impacts the quiet enjoyment of somebody's residence is a problem". I strongly opposed this proposed Lona Ridge special events or commercial business @ 588 Kulaiwi Drive in Wailuku Heights.

Our subdivision CCR's are pretty specific, and presumably were approved by the county. Please do not allow any homeowner to contravene the restrictions. If we want to amend our CCR's, there's ways to do it as a community in accordance with our bylaws. If the owner don't like it, they can find another ingress to their property or they can sell and move away.

Please enforce Section 6.24 of the CC&R. Additional noise and traffic is absolutely unwanted and unnecessary for quiet living.

Rons towing should be in an industrial park- not in my back yard.

This continued attempt to bend the CC&R's for the benefit of one individual is turning neighbor against neighbor. It has no place in a residential neighborhood.

How about Ron's Towing operating out of the Koa subdivision, owned by persons in California, parking their trucks on Kuikahi Drive?

Please don't allow businesses to be conducted in residential area of Wailuku Heights and community of Kehalani. Want peace and quiet in my neighborhood please.

There is no justifiable basis to allow commercial activities in this residential area.

I worry about walking with my grandchildren on Wailuku Heights streets after others have been "partying" up on the plateau!

We have a commercial center near by, they could aquire a property and built a Townhall and do any of these activities there.
