This project is not safe in this area due to important blue lines in the area which feed into our county and state’s drinking water. Emergency response time is a safety issue for the entire community surrounding the commercial project due to fire danger and potential crime. Our long time ranching and residential neighbors don’t deserve to have their wells run dry, be concerned about foul odors, crime and unreasonable traffic.

The fertilizers in our waterways will make their way into Santa Margarita Lake which is drinking water for many. The owners of the company, and land are from out of town. A few get rich at the expense of the local people that love the land. Parkhill Road is very dangerous as it is, add 120 people there will be accidents. I don't trust these people.

We strongly oppose the proposed Pegaso Marijuana cultivation, processing, and distribution site. Conflict with existing agriculture is imminent, water is a huge problem in Pozo, Marijuana is a cash crop which puts public safety in jeopardy, and the odors are foul. River Road cannot handle more traffic or industrial traffic that would access the site. This would also have a negative impact on the reputation of the Pozo specifically and San Luis Obispo County overall.

A large scale industrial marijuana cultivation site is not compatible with the historical ranching nature of the area. This project will create an untenable situation related to Water Issues, Public Safety, Traffic as well as Legacy Agriculture.

A commercial cannabis cultivation, processing, and distribution facility is completely at odds with the rural character of this area, cannot be serviced by the existing well regardless of the proponents' claims, and increases risk of crime to local residents. It should not be approved.

If peoples wells were going dry two years ago, how can we let anybody suck 10,000,000 gallons of water out of the ground?
