Clandestine Classics is a publishing company who is beginning to re-write classic books such as Jane Eyre and Sherlock Holmes in the style of erotic literature. The phenomenon of erotic literature was made popular by E.L. James' 50 Shades of Grey, but it has grown to encompass an entire genre of books. It infringes on the integrity of fictional characters who are important to society. If this literature continues to be published, it will infiltrate the minds of a new generation of readers, and they will be led to believe that erotic literature is now the acceptable 'normal.'
