I am honestly stunned to share that this legislation has officially passed into law. This victory belongs entirely to all of you who chose to pay attention and speak up. Please keep watching to ensure these protections are enforced exactly as we intended.
This is a petition to enact a law preventing Child Abuse, In this new law any person convicted of any form of domestic abuse, even being classified as a misdemeanor would be required to register with your county and then be placed on an offender watch program. (similar to a sexual abuse county watch site.) You would be required to report to your county government agency at minimum, bi- weekly, and if you have a child in the same residence you would be required to report weekly. The site you would be placed on would show the offender's name age date of birth, a current photo, place of birth and current address. Also any abuse committed on an individual under the age of 18 years of age would become a violent felony.
I am honestly overwhelmed by the momentum behind this because it was never something I imagined would grow this large. This movement belongs entirely to the people who chose to speak up for children who cannot speak for themselves.

Yes. If you hurt a child you should lose your right to privacy. Period.
