Cordoba's great mosque is a fantastic architectural masterpiece. The crudity of the attempt to turn it into a church repulsed even the King of Spain. It should never fall into church hands. Keep it public!

The funny thing is, people always make the catholic church look like the devil in the kind of things, but they all conveniently forget that the hagia sophia in istanbul used to be a church, yet now there are protests to make it a mosque again
