Farmland should be kept as just that. We already need further infrastructure covering transport, schools, health and a resolution to problems on the A27. We don't need large developments that will increase the burden on all the issues currently unable to cope with local needs.

This ever growing field of concrete over green field sites bodes ill for all local communities, not least from the dire potential to flood and many already battling inadequate and dangerous roads, inadequate access and inadequate facilities. The fields in Arun are a very bad choice and should this type of building go ahead, I am sure there are many, many people who will heartily regret it.

I totally agree that building on this type of land should be retained for agricultural use.and not the subject of speculative housing development by the Church Commissioners whose sole interest is financial and nothing to do with the christian way of life. This acreage is only part of the Commissioners 'investment' in the area and should/must not be allowed to set a precedent, judged on its own merits or not..

NO MORE HOUSES!! The roads are already too busy around this area, it is already impossible to get a doctor's appointment as it is. How will roads, schools, doctors, hospitals cope? Gone is the semi-rural location this area once was : (

We have more than enough new housing development's in the area enough is enough. All this building is turning a semi rural location into a town and causing the local area to become a high risk flood area we know this because it happened a couple of years ago.

I think it's sheer folly building on this land for two reasons; one because it will increase the changes of flooding neighbouring areas and two,we shouldn't be building on potentially food producing farm land while the country is in a state of flux and may find it more expensive to import.
