I understand that more housing is needed but I cannot believe that turning the south coast into one massive conurbation is the way to do it. The traffic problems will be huge. Then we'll have to widen the roads and our agricultural land will be fine. The country will become more and noted dependent on imported food products at a time when we can't afford to be. Smaller developments and the regeneration of old ones must be a better solution.

Lots of reasons why this is the wrong place to build but main one is that the roads in this area can hardly cope now and the traffic on the A27 around Chichester is terrible.

Agricultural Land needs to be kept. Can't see that this area needs any more houses , new ones already been built are still emply and the infrastrucutre can't cope.. Like others who have commented we moved here to get away from suburban sprawl , Don't want to find this area is also concreted over.

Why are the powers that be even considering permitting building on prime agricultural land, the same land that feeds the nation?
The Bognor and Chichester areas are rapidly becoming gridlocked with traffic from the continuous house building. Where are the jobs for all the extra people imported into the area? The greed of the developers seems to drive the planning in our area, rather than what is in the interests of the residents.

All valid points, greed must not come before our delicate eco-system. Already we have seen massive deveopements in both the Bognor and Littlehampton area. Surely when an elected political party come to grips with the huge net migration problems that have gone on for the past 15 years, the need for all this extra housing will not be so desperate to destroy our beautiful countryside. I was led to believe that all developments in Pagham would be small scale enterprises, not mass development.

Infrastructure cannot cope and I seriously don't expect that S106 will be enough to cover that and the beach erosion costs, which the parish also has to contribute towards.

The infrastructure cannot cope with more houses. The sewers flood already. The traffic in and out of the village jams up all of the time. If houses are to be built the infrastructure should be improved first.

We need to sort out existing problems around the area first i.e. the flooding threat of existing properties, lack of good sewage infrastructure, electricity issues connected with flooding, VERY bad local drainage......the list goes on & on!! This will add to an area already overloaded due to bad planning.

They are spooling the beautiful countryside, also this is wetland this will cause flooding. How are the roads going to cope with all the extra traffic. It will be a nightmare.

We don't have enough doctors dentists schools services as it is without having another 2500 homes on flooded fields. We need these fields to privide our own food especially now we are entering Brexit. Our children cannot afford their own houses.mthis has been turned down once it should be turned down again.

I agree to build unaffordable houses on good quality farm land, that is susceptible to flooding, is ridiculous. There are other parcels of land around that are not being used for anything.example rowans way,but I guess it would cost the developers to much to install better drainage! AND NOT MAKE THERE PROFIT MARGINS!
