The government should be concentrating their efforts on the many brown field sites in the South of England. Not killing the natural beauty of the area taking all our green spaces, building rabbit hutch style buildings that will not stand the test of time!!!

Pagham is a village and should remain one.We have enough problems with the growing spit which could lead to flooding without more problems.The doctors are already over stretched as is the Pagham Road with lorries going to Barfoots.

Enough is enough! No more building on our green belt sites. There are plenty of brown field sites out there that need attention.

I attended the meeting @ the Scout Hut, Sefter Road on 6/10/16 and was extremely pleased with how many people came to support the protest/petition against building so very many houses in and around our village of Pagham, Rose Green and surrounding areas. The numbers of proposed dwellings would devastate our already overstretched local infrastructure.....roads, schools, GP surgeries, flooding, just to name a few. Greenfield and agricultural land being built on ( in my opinion ) would severely reduce our ability to produce cheaper local crops if needs be. Brownfield sites are more expensive to develop therefore Arun District Council take the easy route and build on our fields. I may not be a very eloquent writer in this instance, but feel passionately that the fight must and should be borne by all of us as individuals. It is not enough to hope your neighbour, friend, or someone else will do this on your behalf, we must all take responsibility for our children, and our grand children’s future.....PEOPLE POWER !!

We do not need any more houses in Pagham. The roads cannot cope with the traffic at the moment let alone when all these houses are built. And what about the flooding? Schools and Doctors are already bursting. And lastly what about the beautiful wildlife we have in this error? I really do think that this has not been thought about st all

I would suggest the organisers of this petition get in touch with SUSTAIN. People need affordable homes but there also needs to be a holistic solution and wider discussion. Locality and Campaign to Protect Rural England may also be able to help.
