My family and I come to Croyde every year camping and enjoy the AONB, it’s becoming a real shame that new housing development seems to be taking precedence over nature and sustaining the environment.

Stop building homes in an area that is already at its limit and who’s infrastructure can’t cope.

Please no more building in Croyde and the surrounding areas. What will be left? The developers dont care about the area. They want to make a quick buck and move on to the next cash cow. The buyers will be investors with the houses empty for 6 months of the year.
ENOUGH!

This is a unique area of outstanding natural beauty. To even think of building on it would be destruction of one of the countries most beautiful areas.

I don’t agree with the development, serious infrastructure improvements need to be made, along with local amenities and careful management of our local environment before any further developments are allowed.
First and foremost local affordable housing to local residents and retained in the housing stock for locals thereafter must be the priority. NOT more second/holiday homes.

As a local resident I am naturally concerned to preserve the unique and beautiful areas of Georgeham and Croyde. We are quite shocked by the huge amount of building and large properties being built in the area and the continued threat to our precious green fields. Please do not allow this to happen

I get the need for more houses for local people at affordable costs to buy or rent… but to lose green fields and all that biodiversity and space to simply sell as holiday homes, I don’t support. We are overwhelmed with holiday rentals here. I worked for a few years as a First Responder for the ambulance service, and one reason I have just given up is the stress of getting to patients on the roads ‘in season’. I simply couldn’t get anywhere. Please stop over-developing.
