STOP Building on the Green Fields of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty

This has to stop. We are letting our young people down in a time of flooding and climate change. Our tourist industry relies on the beauty of our environment! Obvious really.

Beautiful areas should not be built on

There really is no need. Visiting annually for the last few years under canvas it is sad to see how many of the homes are holiday cottages. Having grown up in the Peak District where similar things have happened and the money has moved in village life is slowly being destroyed. Don't let this happen here.

Please preserve our natural environment and beauty

Don’t ruin such a beautiful place. It should be preserved and treasured.

I object to the proposed new development; the proposed new buildings are clearly not in keeping with the village and will severely impact on the openness and attractiveness of the area. The proposals are clearly inconsistent with the Georgeham Parish Neighbourhood plan which is focused on principal residency occupation (which these will clearly not be) and providing affordable accommodation for the local community (which this development clearly is not).

Only need for more houses is for small affordable homes for full time residence Neither roads sewerage system or facilities can take any more pressure Holiday camps need restrictions in same spirit

Not only will this have a monumental impact on this beautiful landscape and it’s nature forever, this area simple cannot sustain that extra traffic and people. RNLI are already struggling to keep people safe in the water at croyde.

We don’t want to to turn into Newquay… please be mindful of expanding and building on green land.

The areas infrastructure is too weak to then be impacted by further new homes.

With the "pandemuc" decimating the population we will soon need a lot less houses anyway - right?

We are two successful business people in the arts industry considering moving full time to Croyde and will be very put off the area at large if this goes ahead due to the unrealistic demand it will place on this area!!

We need to preserve AONBs or we will lose precisely what makes the special and what fuels the much needed tourism industry.

Croyde is unique and there have been so many new builds and rebuilds that the wonderful beauty of the village is quickly vanishing There are far too many second homes and children have been priced out of living in their home area The roads cannot cope with all the extra traffic and walking through the centre of the village has become a dangerous nightmare for all the local residents Developers are once again threatening to kill another village with their greed

No more building the roads in this beautiful area we are packed already with holiday villages and holiday homes and the roads are extremely congested in that we have to go out at certain times to be able to avoid traffic

Keep fighting for the local community!!!

Croyde is an AONB which is being systematically destroyed through continuous development of its green fields and fauna. Croydes infrastructure already struggling with the overdevelopment already permitted. Traffic snarl ups/ sewage problems in peak holiday periods and an erosion of community due to 2nd home ownership. Protect our village before its too late please.

There is enough traffic on our little roads.
