Stop this madness and leave our beautiful countryside alone. Before long all our little villages and towns will be one

Please find alternatives to buildi g on farmland and s hwxyked open space I thi k the Government's policy of giving each town and district council a housing g target they have to meet should be scrapped. There are people, waiting for homes but there is, enough housing stock to accommodate them. Please don’t allow this beautiful landscape to be further ruined by greedy companies. There’s enough already been taken and built upon. Leave it now. It’ll be ruined with anymore and the charm will be gone.

Not enough schools/doctors/hospitals /no affordable homes two many holiday and second homes

All building must stop immediately. Until a more sustainable approach is agreed upon. Any new housing developments above 10 homes must be affordable and for locals only. Not for the gain of second home owners, buy to let or holiday let's.

Re-use the Brownfield sites first before destroying more virgin land. Greed before anything it seems.

Leave our greenfields alone!

Where I live in South Devon we have thousands of houses being built on our green fields, the local population can't afford to live in them and there is not the infrastructure to support these houses. An absolute disgrace.

We have a serious lack of affordable housing both to buy and to rent in North Devon. Focus for new house building should be on affordable housing for those who need to work locally.

Once it's gone, it's gone, I don't recognise half the towns in Devon any more.

Stop building on green fields across Devon

The amount of Green area dissapearing in Devon, to development is sickening and needs to restrained. Does a city really need a Lidl next to an Aldi, where that brown field site could be used for Urban Housing instead of Urbanising our Villages.

If you are going to build, build affordable housing to cater for local people. Forget rich folk who just want a second home then leave this newly acquired property empty for up to 6 months of every year. People like this contribute very little to any local economy. Such places become ghost towns in winter, thus local folk are forced to leave the area because of lack of employment etc, etc, etc.

Save our green spaces.

The area between Braunton and Ilfracombe needs housing for the local community to enable sustainability of the community and good housing opportunities and hope for this and next generation.

Building houses in this beautiful area for rich people only is immoral. Local people are priced out of the market and wildlife is seriously adversely affected.

Stop the free market total destruction of our countryside and limit building to affordable and social housing for local families.

Utterly ridiculous. Greedy developers somehow get planning permission for new estates which they claim will include 'affordable, homes i.e. starting with one bedroom apartments at around £200, 000 . Affordable as second homes that is, who do they think they are kidding ??? This must be stopped IMMEDIATELY.

Most of the houses built are unaffordable to local people and will end up as second homes. Wages are so low here. 2nd home ownership needs to stop as it is destroying and dividing local communities. No green space, of outstanding natural beauty should ever be built on.
