STOP Building on the Green Fields of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Too much destruction of the natural landscape in an AONB, Heritage Coast impacting North Devon UNESCO Biosphere SSSI. Given the significant rate of development for commercial holiday lets that has already happened we need a break to properly assess the impacts of what has been permitted already before carrying on headlong on this apparent road of destruction

Building more & more in this beautiful area will be destroying the integrity of why people love coming here ..

A blight on the landscape and for unnecessary second homes. I object to the application which is not part of the strategic plan.

I have no problem with affordable houses being built that are needed for local people, or for people wanting to move to the area, work here, and become part if the community. But I strongly object to beautiful countryside being eaten up by more holiday homes, that very few 'normal' folk here will ever be able to afford. Please stop any more land being destroyed like this!

please stop this development. As regular visitors to this are of Croyde, there is already enough development. We do not need another set of holiday homes.

Do not allow Ruda to spoil even more of Croyde

We have visited this beautiful area and it makes us sad that the coastline will change because of it. Croyde is tiny, the roads and amenities will just not cope with the volume proposed. It will ruin this beautiful part of Devon.

We need houses for locals to live in, not millionaires who live and work in other part of the country

Too much development in Croyde and surrounding villages. It is destroying AONB and environment.

We don't need any more holiday homes in Croyde - especially built on a greenfield sight in an AONB. The local services are already struggling to cope at the expense of permanent residents.

Developers are abusing the “system” for maximum financial return (ie greed). If there has to be development it should be small houses for starter homes and downsizing.

Why is the application of planning laws usually so feeble in these cases? This must be stopped!

Worth noting the biodiversity crisis in the UK at the moment. If greed wins then I will look forward to reading their well researched and properly funded offsetting proposals….. hold developers to account.

please stop ruining croyde!! protect the AONB and the locals that were born and raised there that can no longer afford to live in their own village, the locals are the heart and soul of croyde.

Live in Shirwell but lived in Braunton most of my life. Dont even bother going to Croyde or saunton during the summer because of the traffic. More housing for locals!

I visit Croyde for its charm and beauty not its housing estates. Please stop these plans.

Please stop this development. It is a travesty, not just for those living in Croyde and surrounding areas, but for the environment. By following a grotesque trend in the UK of over-populating and surrounding historic and picturesque villages with housing estates, swathes of vegetation are being concreted over, going against urgent environmental concerns of global warming. And who stands to benefit? One landowner and one property developer which makes it a nonsense. Please don't let this go ahead.
