STOP Building on the Green Fields of Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty

Devon as a whole is being ruined by mass development. Most of the homes are too expensive for true devonians to buy so people from outside our county are moving in as these homes are cheaper than where they live. We should be only building a few homes here for people born here in Devon so that they can stay living in or near the village they grew up in to keep Devon, Devonian!

Please stop this madness,don’t let greed destroy your beautiful country .

On a Darracott a equestrian field the owners daughter is putting in to build a house. If this goes ahead every field will have pop up stabling and horses that are not looked after just in the chance of getting a house on prime coastal land.

This beautiful area needs the space, the green, the view. It’s tranquil, cool and again beautiful. Parkdean please listen to the residents especially this is their home, their life and listen to the holidaymakers. If Parkdean win it will no longer be beautiful.

The beauty of Croyde will be ruined if it keeps expanding, its one of the best surf spots in Devon and its already over run in summer times

Please help prevent the permanent destruction of an irreplaceable landscape

Croyde is rapidly losing its charm and becoming a modernist housing estate for the rich.

Croyde is a very special place and although I accept development and change is inevitable it needs to be limited and sympathetic to the AONB. As local land owners we respect our surroundings.

Don’t let greed ruin the beauty that makes this area desirable in the first place

Croyde is too small a village to have any more guests staying in the summer months! It’s bedlam as it is, do not allow it to get any busier!

Croyde has a special place in my heart and made me realise my love for the sea and all things by the beach. By Park Dean expanding in Croyde, this stunning beach and AONB will be forever lost

This has to be stopped!

Croyde does not have the infrastructure, parking or roads for more people. Traffic is already a nightmare and people use the dunes as a toilet! The only way to make this work is: bigger roads, another parking site, more pubs and restaurants.

Have visited Croyde every year since 1994 because it is so lovely

We need to stop building on green fields and start doing up old places to rent out to locals. There are too many properties standing empty.

Far too many houses being built to be used as holiday lets or sold as second homes, our villages are being ruined

An inadequate housing supply is not an "exceptional circumstance" (Appeal reference: APP/R3650/W/16/3163050). Protecting the nationally designated AONB must carry 'great weight' in the planning balance.

Too busy already!!!!!!!!

Too much destruction of the natural landscape in an AONB, Heritage Coast impacting North Devon UNESCO Biosphere SSSI. Given the significant rate of development for commercial holiday lets that has already happened we need a break to properly assess the impacts of what has been permitted already before carrying on headlong on this apparent road of destruction
