The areas infrastructure is at breaking point . The Road network is failing as are the educational establishments which should provide better results considering the area they serve. Expansion here does not benefit Bradford other than more and D properties it benefits Halifax as a retail centre.

There are enough houses in Queensbury we don't need any more. The remaining green belt we have should stay green belt

It can take me up to 15/16 minutes some days to reach the traffic lights in Queensbury - a trip from my house that used to take me between 3 and 5 minutes. We have more and more traffic issues daily. We also have several pre-school nurseries and after-school clubs, 3 primary schools and a large secondary school. Not enough dentists or doctors, very few children's facilities and a very limited road network. There is always room to build somewhere but you have to consider the negative impact on what is already a local village structure bursting at the seams. My wife and I were just yesterday saying how Queensbury is going downhill fast and we are likely to move once our kids have finished school. My wife was born here 45 years ago and I met her and moved here 27 years ago. Queensbury is losing its heart, soul and character and that is what happens when something gets too big. There should be absolutely no building on green belt in Queensbury and unless the council are willing to invest in road upgrading, improved local services, maybe even a by pass then there should be no further developments at all.

Its hard enough to get to see the doctor, cant get a dentist, the roads are not up to it, more people bring more crime, and why should the rural views be spoilt with even more homes

Queensbury is already overpopulated, due to the other new houses that have just been built. The traffic is horrendous and there's only one bus in and out of Queensbury.

We moved to Queensbury for the views and location, peace and quite.. The village has more then enough people living in it... Save our green belt for future generations...

Green spaces need to be saved as once they are built on that's it,no space for wildlife or children & does god knows what for the drainage systems when it rains

One main reason I commute so far every morning and evening for work, and want to move up queensbury is because it's located with some beautiful scenery

Keep green belt land green belt. There are not sufficient roads schools and Amenities for current houses? I don't want wildlife killed for sake of a concrete jungle. Keep off green belt land ,what will remain for our children's children if we destroy these fields. Stop it now say no.

The roads, schools and infrastructure will not cope with all the extra people. Not to mention the noise and pollution levels which will be increased. I am a horse owner and already have issues with the amount of traffic on the road! Soon Queensbury will not have any open spaces left! Save our green belt land.

I strongly oppose these proposals. The infrastructure in Queensbury and the surrounding area will not support the proposals. It's extremely hard to get a doctors appointment, getting registered with a dentist is virtually impossible, the local schools are full to capacity and the High Street and side roads in Queensbury cannot cope now with the existing traffic. The situation is only going be made worse if these proposals are implemented. In addition, the amount of green belt land in the area is diminishing - we need to keep what little we have. The increase in building is definitely adversely impacting the well being of those people who already live here.
