Stop building on green belt land in Queensbury

I oppose this building proposal. There are already insufficient school and GP places and the traffic is choking the village on a daily basis. I moved to the village (as it was then) for the scenic views and village atmosphere - all this is being lost in this insane rush to build more homes. there are plenty of empty homes in Bradford suitable for renovation which would make good starter homes for young people on low incomes and developers should be offered incentives to do this.

Hasn't there been enough new houses built in Queensbury? How much more green belt land do we have to lose?

It's becoming too crowded and busy here already.

Far too much housing development has been undertaken in Queensbury over the last 20 years. Queensbury is no longer; we are now a traffic choked extension to sprawling Bradford conurbation. This proposed development off Old Guy Road is just the start as no doubt it will be followed by further projects to take more farm land right up to Roper Lane boundary. Enough is enough.

Queensbury is on its knees not enough school places not enough gp places and a horrendous traffic problem but Bradford council couldn't care less and continue to grant planning permission for more and more homes. Enough is enough

The roads structure - Fleet Lane and Old Guy Road - is not adequate to cope with housing developments on this scale. Queensbury is already on the main junction of the A644 and A647. It would be chaos at peak time.

I strongly object to the building of more new homes on green belt land in Queensbury

Once again the council greed overtakes any logic.

Why should we be all losing our green belt.stay out of West Yorkshire

Bradford council wake up stop wasting our money you want to ruin a community ruin your own area Queensbury is already grid locked and doesn't have the infrastructure for any more Houses wake up and smell the coffee Leave Queensbury Alone

Keep queensbury as it is!!

Before any building in Queensbury the council need to update the schools, roads etc

I strongly oppose building on green belt land in Queensbury

The infrastructure of the area is already stretched-road congestion, doctor's surgeries and schools are struggling to cope following the building on and around Denholmegate Road-we have more than accommodated our fair share of additional homes in this area. Building on this land will alter the character of the area, with countryside on the doorstep being permanently removed and adversely affecting the wellbeing of those who have lived here for years & moved here specifically because of this characteristic.

It is disgusting and wrong to consider building houses on green belt land in Queensbury. There is not the infrastructure or the facilities in Queensbury to warrant further building. I strongly object to any plans to build on green belt land in Queensbury.

It is shameful that plans are being proposed to build on green belt land in Queensbury. There are many brown sites in Bradford which should be considered first without using more green belt areas especially in Queensbury. I strongly object to the proposals and request they are reconsidered with immediate effect.

I am disgusted that there are plans to build on our green belt land. There is not the infrastructure, facilities, banks (Yorkshire Bank closing shortly) schools are full and traffic in and around Queensbury is already a major problem. There are many brown site areas in Bradford which must and should be considered before green belt land. I ask you do not allow further building of houses in Queensbury especially on green belt land.

Queensbury can not cope with all this extra building work / houses and development the infrastructure in place is not adequate to cope!
