Stop building on green belt land in Queensbury

I have previously been refused planning application to extend my property 11' x 8' because it was in the green belt area in question. This area benefits from a natural park "Littlemoor Park" which is bequeathed to the people of Queensbury with the expectation that the Bradford council will honour that wish for the benefactors. The thought of 1000+ houses being built a travesty to the laws of this country the area is a natural haven for Deer, Owls, a massive variety of bird life and BATS. The proposal to build is also underneath "Power Lines" the WHO (World Health Organisation" makes it clear that research shows that building underneath "Power Lines" brings significant Health Risks. If Bradford Council requires more housing capacity it should look to maximise the many, many "Brown Field" sites recently made available in Ingleby Road, and Lidget Green (Fields) etc. etc.

Plenty places round BRADFORD INCLUDING OLD MILLS AND LAND. GET PEOPLE NEARER CITY CENTRE SO THEY CAN USE AND SHOP IN BRADFORD AGAIN. THINK OF HOW MUCH LESS POLUTION,PEOPLES LESS USE OF CARS. STOP RUINING OUR LOVELY COUNTRYSIDE.

Local roads and Doctors surgery already over crowded, more houses will create more problems.

I am contesting the decision of Bradford Council to build houses on the green belt land. The roads in the surrounding areas are not suitable to accommodate the extra traffic volumes which the building of the houses will create. There are new housing estates being built on Brighouse Denholme Road and the land behind Black Dyke Mills. The Doctors surgeries in Queensbury cannot accommodate more patients ( I have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment) and schools in Queensbury are already subscribed to the maximum. The green belt land is used for dog walking, hiking, jogging, horse riding. The scenery is beautiful and should remain that way.

Absolute joke, have you ever tried driving through Queensbury these days at rush hours, this will only add to an already overloaded road infrastructure, and at the moment the state of the roads in Queensbury are the things that needs addressing not building more housed which will cause even more damage to already atrocious roads, why can't you build on the spare land next to Foxhill school? Which has stood empty for years now waiting to be developed, why take our greenbelt off us!!

Queensbury is sinking under the pressure of all the vehicles now, even before this goes ahead, it will be totally gridlocked, and that's on the main road, these small roads will not be able to cope with any extra traffic at all, have you ever seen Old Guy Road, its single track.

I have lived in Queensbury for 32 years. In that time there as been extensive building of new homes. Unfortunately, the road infrastructure as not kept pace to cope with the increased traffic.

this will create havoc on the roads and difficulty in moving livestock the area will look visually undesirable the residents moved here for the rural environment The area is green belt and should stay green belt

Accidents pulling out of Brighouse/Denholme main road Amount of Traffic particularly at rush hour Doctors overstretched, cannot provide appointments for current residents Schools overcrowded Should be kept as a farming rural area

If there is 35,500 more houses going up in the queensbury area that means there will be at least 70,000 more cars,The roads are gridlocked at peak times now???.There is a lot of livery yards and riding schools for the disabled in this area and we are struggling to keep safe with the amount of traffic there is on the roads now

Thers plenty of derilect buildings AND LAND round Towns start getting people back housed nearer CITY CENTRES SO YHEY CAN WALK IN SAVING OIL POLLUTION.and get out CITY CENTRE SHOPPING BACK. COMMON SENSE!!!

Doctors and schools are struggling now what will it be like with more houses. That part of the road has constant accidents now with out more houses We as farmers find it difficult enough moving animals Also stopping people throwing rubbish into fields and exercising there dogs of leads

too many houses already with not enough schools ,doctors, & roads very congested. wildlife are becoming rare because of building as hundreds of houses are already built making Queensbury an urban sprawl

Why when Bradford is full of old empty buildings Old Mills etc. why do you want to build on green belt land . We moved to Queensbury 27 years ago to be in a rural area .Not any more. Do the people who propose this plan actually live in Queensbury or even Bradford

The green ares in Queensbury are getting smaller every year. Areas joining up so there is a loss of identity. Leave our green belt alone our roads and schools can't cope as it is.

too many houses and not enough services this area was supposed to be a rural area that's the reason I brought a house in the area
