The structure of most of the roads in the village are not built to take the amount of traffic that is on the roads in the village now ,without the extra that will occur once the new builds are finished at Harrowings and by the Black Dyke mill.
Surely the planning department could find somewhere more suitable for new builds as we are stretched to capacity now regarding schools ,doctors ,etc, and now facilities to cope with extra demands.

The development of more houses being built in Queensbury will increase burdens on school places and Doctors surgeries.
Our roads are already gridlocked at peak times and often it takes longer to get out of Queensbury than the journey you have planned! To put more pressure on our roads where there is already insufficient transport infrastructure is ridiculous.
Also the collection of waste disposal is going to be reduced to once a month by 2017 if more house are built this will impact on this too.
So I am objecting to these houses being built in Queensbury especially as some are on green belt.

Traffic through Quensbury and into Halifax is already at capacity, a journey that should take 15 minutes can take 40 minutes at rush hour, has the extra volume of commuters being taken into consideration?

The main road through Queensbury (and many surrounding roads) are already at or over capacity. Extra traffic will just exasperate the problems that already exist.
New House lane itself already has parking problems (permits required) and isn't suitable for any extra traffic of any size (especially when the the farm vehicles are working)

the village is at full capacity. Roads are far to busy. Children being knocked down due to shear amount of traffic. Schools struggling with numbers and at full capacity. Doctors can't cope and no appointments. What about people in the village who regularly walk to enjoy the current surroundings

The facilities we have can no longer cope with the number of new residents ie: roads, schools, doctors, shops etc.

Queensbury is already too busy and cannot handle current traffic. We enjoy living here and contributing to this village and its community if you keep building on more green space you will erode away what. Makes Queensbury special

If you build houses on that land it would make Queensbury even more busy on the roads and schools. Also it would make life even harder to get in the doctors . Queensbury doesn't need any more houses its a nice village any more it would make it busy.

This junction is used daily by equestrians from the Shelf area and any further traffic would be hazardous and could result in a tragedy.

Already overcrowded in queensbury.not enough school places for more children.beautiful countryside around here and lovely walks that would be ruined.the traffic would increase and cause danger to young children.

Green Belt land is there for a reason - to preserve the countryside and natural environment. Please leave this green belt alone. We have already had new houses built in Queensbury and don't want anymore. The schools and GP Surgeries are already over-subscribed. We moved to Queensbury for the green belt are which is popular with walkers and riders. Please please do not take out green belt away, especially QB/13, 14a, 14b, 22, 24, 28 & 29.

Its the very last bit of Greenbelt left in Queensbury very popular with dog walkers horse riders and walkers

Roads, already in poor condition, cannot cope. Schools cannot cope. Doctors' surgeries cannot cope.
