Rte 38 is a two lane road, not a four lane highway. Traffic is already a nightmare which will only get worse.
Maybe some other town wants to be destroyed but we've certainly had enough.

The Town of Tewksbury must bring in Businesses, which was promised several years ago, but instead we are building houses, appartments, etc. All of this growth in a small town is hurting our town. Too much traffic on two lane roads N/S. Schools are expanding in size & taxes increasing. You need to keep your promises to Tewksbury.

Enough is enough!! Because our town fathers don't live in Tewksbury and don't have to put up with the traffic and congestion, they don't care how much building goes on!!

I live on Chandler st & the over building of this town is causing severe traffic issues on my road Also the plot of land owned by The Novitiate on Chandler st js a hit piece of property that several of the large builders in town are vying for. If sold & developed it would be the last large acreage plot destroyed causing a nightmare in traffic & no where for the local wildlife to go either.I live directly next door to this plot of land where deer, fox. coyote, Fischer cats & other assorted wildlife call home. I am tired of these builders coming in taking large plots of beautiful land & making a cluster of apartments, condos or houses, yet in the meantime Main Street looks like a depressed town. Builders & politicians make the excuse of "AFFORDABLE HOUSING" but who are they trying to kid. PUT A MORATORIUM ON BUILDING COMPLEXES OF ANY KIND. PERIOD At least for the time being.

We basically have one street, Rte 38, running north/south through the center of town connecting all the service and retail business and no parallel streets to divert increasing traffic so we need to shut down the population growth. Our rural suburban town is starting to look like Boston's closer overflow communities with large apartment complexes. And no more construction projects unless the light pollution problem is resolved by requiring downward lighting. The new apt complex over on Livingston St looks like we're entering Las Vegas!

I have lived in Tewksbury since 1973 and I never thought that I would see Tewksbury turn into what I see today. It is one high rise apartment complex after another that has been approved by the planning board. This is what happens when the people of Tewksbury do not stand up and have there voices heard. This has to stop!

It should read "Let's make Tewksbury desirable to live in." "Great again" is an over-used distasteful political slogan coming from an equally disturbing and destructive unbalanced source. Tewksbury needs sidewalks, updated schools, more highly qualified teachers and programs for disabled children, better zoning and traffic control methods, more larger businesses to stop tax increases for homeowners and two family homes instead of huge condo complexes to alleviate the housing crunch!

Stop building housing and focus on building up retail via a Market Street type Plaza with retail and restaurants like they have done in Burlington and Lynnfield!!

Enough with the higher end townhouses and apartments. Concentrate on building up our commercial tax base and revitalizing Main Street.

Stop building in Tewksbury. When I moved here in 2000 this was a small quiet town. Now I hear nothing but sirens and sit in constant traffic. We do not need any more apartment complex's.

Stop Building! Taxes are high enough! You should have given a shot at the Slots Casino a couple of years ago. This town would have been very rich with a guarantee of

Route 38 looks like crap with potholes from Wilmington to Lowell. Can’t drive down it on a weekend without sitting in traffic. No decent chain restaurants in town. Did I mention the elementary schools SUCK. No AC or fans for the classrooms? Teachers buy their own supplies or ask parents to “donate” to a wish list made up from the teachers?!?! Come on I’m from RI and never seen a main drag (38) with this many abandoned buildings and lots and lack of chain restaurants or the lack of FANS in a classroom so kids don’t come home dripping of sweat.

Rt 38 is not built or maintained to accommodate any more vehicles. We have too many empty store fronts now. Our services & taxes, water and sewage bill are continuing to rise & are too high. The add'l taxes received are still not enough to support the services, schools etc need to support the rising population.

We are already over crowded enough and they keep building more town houses/apartments. Bring in more businesses if we want to boost the town economy
No more building!!!
