It's an insult to those who were threatened and assaulted. It's beyhond comprehension that we should even contemplate rewarding threats, brutality and assault.

Even if this were policed by the PTA, as proposed, that wouldn't last long and you would soon come up against a wide range of excuses about why someone couldn't be found to cover the gate that day.
I also think it sends out completely the wrong message in response to the attack on Matt and Mark. Beat up our head coach and your reward will be free parking……...No!

I would have supported this bar for the recent assault. I hope Northgate School parents are advised of this and ostracise the appalling parents responsible for this assault. When they cease to be at Northagate I would be willing to change my mind and supporth

this is a bad fix to a difficult situation. might as well close the club during this period as it won't be possible to get in

BSLTC is exactly that. It is a 'club' for members. We pay good money to go there. The school should not be allowed to park, especially after our head coach and Mark Curtis were assaulted. They should have 100% support from the club and committee.

I feel this is absolutely ridiculous. Where else would you give away such a commodity for free, if at all??!!

Firstly is this a rumour or is it actually going to happen? Whose crazy idea was this and I would like to know the reason behind it.As an ex parent of the school I know that this will be impossible to police and who do they propose will be controlling who is using it .There are so many other events at the school outside drop off and pick up times and parents would be abusing it just on that level alone .Next people will be leaving there cars there to walk into town and even to the station .Maybe we could start up a park and ride !!!! Northgate were unable to even find out names of parents abusing the zigzags outside the school nevermind police two car parks .There were often comments in the newsletter requesting parents cooperation with parking issues and it would always fall on deaf ears
The biggest shame is the lack of respect shown towards Matt and Mark . What signal are we sending out ...come and abuse the staff and then we will invite you to use our facilities ... Why not hand out free drinks next and bacon sandwiches.... Think I had better stop now !
