Even the concept that dogs can be deemed dangerous based on their looks and DNA is preposterous. It's cruel, inhumane, insane and dangerous!

Shame on you district of the municipality of Guysborough - disrupting the lives of responsible dog owners who have done nothing wrong but have dogs who look a certain way! This dog has done nothing wrong except have a wide forehead and short hair - what if you rounded up all the people in your municipality who had curly hair - it's exactly the same thing and doesn't belong in a civilized society - shame!!

Please abolish this ridiculous archaic law! There should never be prejudicial breed specific bans - banning should be based on proven behaviorial issues from specific animals.

Removing this loving animal from his home & family accomplishes nothing but to perpetuate false information of these breeds.

I have known this family and this dog for the duration of his life and this is completely ridiculous that you would expect a FAMILY to rehome their NINE YEAR OLD family member....your county is a disgrace....do not bully breeds and allow this family to keep their pet.

I am a dog rescuer in Saskatchewan and only rehab animals with issues dealing with fear and aggression. Banning Bully breeds really does nothing to reduce the number of dog bites in a community rather it is far better to have a Dangerous Dog bylaw which allows you to deal with any dog that expresses aggressive tendencies.
