With regards to the letter that I have read, the same can be said about any breed of dog. The majority of a dog's temperament has to do with the environment it is raised in. A dog raised in a loving, caring environment becomes a loving, caring member of the family. You are not only forcing someone to give away pet, you are forcefully breaking up a family.

The municipality of Guysboorough needs to wake up and realize that their bylaw is ridiculous and needs to change. I would be moving away from such a backwards place asap. Give your tax dollars to a town that understands breed laws do not work.

Shame on the municipality and you’re reasoning is just pathetic on this matter. Did you know that the most common dog bites are from Labrador retrievers? Yes, there are a lot more of that breed around then any other breed but just throwing that out there. Any dog can bite at any time no matter the breed, so should the municipality ban all dogs now?

Please do not take away their family member who has done nothing wrong. There is no evidence to support the claims in that bylaw! Pls do the right thing and change the foolish law.

I respectfully urge the county of Guysborough to rethink and repeal this discriminatory bylaw.

Would you force a couple to get rid of there 9 year old kid because he was mixed race ? Not much of a difference.

I have no words for the absurdity of this by law. For 9 years this family friend did not attack but oh over night he will. Get bloody real.

Hi I am signing this because I love dogs and Breed discrimination is so wrong it's not the dogs fault it's all on how the dog is raised
