This is down right bias and unjust. That's like saying anyone living in the poor part of town is a drug addict or criminal.
I know many a small dog with aggressive temperament yet they are not prosecuted....a dog's behaviour, like a child's, is mostly dependant on how they are raised!

This makes me sad I had no idea that Nova Scotia had any bsl in place .I am totally disgusted and would never buy property there and will never go there again .it's not the breed of dog it's the way you bring them up.

Why would they condemn a pet because of what people have done to others of similar bloodlines. How is the German Shepherd's making out ....Oh yeah that was a while ago, people have found a new breed to pick on.

Making a family, rehome a 9 year old family pet, with a nonbiting history, over a holiday weekend and only given 5 days to find a suitable home is cruel and unreasonable in so many ways. All because of a DNA test. Quebec tried to do this and failed, why are you doing it Guyborough County?

The owner causes the animal to be vicious. If you nurture your animal like you should they would not be aggressive. This is ridiculous.

Violence isn’t bred. It’s a learned behaviour. DNA doesn’t do anything.
