Narrow minded backwoods logic.... that is what this law is! Do your homework Guysbourgh! Small dogs like Jack Russell Terrioirs have higher rates of violence than pit mixed dogs.

Breed specific laws really don't do a thing to protect people. Dalmations bite more than any other breed, but they're never on the banned list. These lists are based on fear, not facts.

BSL doesn’t work. All dogs can attack. Humans need to take responsibility for how they raise and treat their animals.

Breed specific laws need to be abolished. Instead focus on people who shouldn’t have animals in the first place and mistreat and abuse them. This seems like a more logical goal than removing a family pet.

stop this discrimination of these beautiful dogs there families love them and the fear of losing a fur kid just because someone doesnt like them and cant take the time to research that these are good dogs is wrong on every level

Breed Specific bylaws are useless. Ant dog has the potential to bite or be aggressive. The dog is shaped by its environment not it's breed.

This is inflicting such unnecessary pain on a family and beloved pet. dogs of a certain breed are not the problem- trainers are. If a specific dog has beaved agressively- deal with that owner. But please do not label all dogs of a certain breed as agressive! It doesn't old weight genetically, or statistically. After WW@ it was German Separds wo were "vicious." In te 80's it was Dobermin Pinchers. Now it's thougth to be Pit Bull's and those who "appear" similar. All the while the past bully breeds have come into their own as loving, and wonderful family pets. Look to the humans- not the dogs for the problems (if, infact, there is a problem- other than discrimination.)
