Bsl is not okay. So many small dogs that are more vicious. It's how they are raised not the breed that determines the dog.

Having dog bylaws for each community is good to have BUT having breed type dog ban is wrong .. if you actually did your homework those breeds that your banning are not the dangerous ones to your community you’d be surprised which ones are noted to be such... maybe it’s time for new councilmembers ...this is why your Community will flounder and you will wonder why .... the petition I’m signing is for the family to keep their pet that they have had for years ... maybe each of you councilmembers should have a DNA test and if you don’t fit into the normal maybe you should be given a week to be booted !!

This is so wrong, wrong, wrong! BSL is not acceptable. This dog is a part of the family, and has done nothing wrong. And they give them not even five days to "rehome" him! Oh, you have got to be joking! This will devastate this poor dog and the family. Cruel and inhumane...

This bylaw needs to be abolished. It’s not the breed it’s how they are raised. All dogs have basic instincts to protect themselves when they feel they are in harms way.

Why do ppl with a little power think they can take down the world ? I believe this is a fight the municipality will not win. After all it started out of fear of dogs , I don't think it's worth the paper it's written on.

Absolutely ridiculous that this family would have to rehome their dog after nine years over something like his breed. BSL is discrimination. Any dog at all has the potential to be vicious, it depends on a lot of things and not just breed.

This is so not fair, please let them keep their fur baby, a dog being that age and having a routine and then taking him away from the only family he knows is not right.

Breeds are not the problem- bad ownership / training are. Stop blaming an animal for how they were born.
