Some OWNERS should be banned. I had to rehome a Shih Zhu that was "dumped' on me because she was more fierce and dangerous than any pittie I've met!!

This is disgusting. What about Huskies? I have a tiny little Yorkshire terrier at my clinic right now being treated for a "bite wound" from a huskie. This dog was on his own property tied to a lead when the unleashed husky attacked it. Now he has half the flesh on his back missing!!!

This is heartbreaking and absolutely disgusting that the county should be allowed to take a dog from it's family based on breed discrimination. These people should be given adequate time to appeal this . 5 days notice to rehome their pet is absolutely unreasonable !

Always have and always will forever love bully breeds! I personally grew up with a rotti. He was the most gentle giant of them all, we dressed him up, painted his nails, and he loved us until the day he passed ! This is absolutely insane. We ended racism yet we still discriminate against breeds of talks who can’t talk for themselves? There is no difference in my eyes.

I am shocked and disgusted that this breed bylaw exists in NS. I didn't think that our lawmakers were as small-minded as those in other places in Canada with this bylaw. Bully breeds were once called 'nanny' dogs because they were wonderful with children. These breeds and the Rotties aren't bad breeds. It is bad owners that turn some of these dogs 'bad'. Any breed of dog can become 'bad' if mistreated. End this bylaw!

I don’t believe theses dogs deserve the bad rep they are getting. They are mostly kind and become part of people’s families. Because a few have bad owners, all the others pay for this
