This bylaw is unbelievably stupid. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to take a senior dog from his family. Why don’t you spend your time in more useful ways than DNA testing dogs.

It’s so heartbreaking to think this poor dog will be taken from his family just because he is considered a bully breed. Discrimination against a specific breed is ridiculous. First the German shepherds then the Rottweilers and dobermans. Now the bully breed breeds. If a dog is aggressive, an understanding that the person raising it is responsible NEEDS to happen. Ridiculous this still happens. Poodles are considered one of the most aggressive breed of dogs lol better start handing them over.

BSL is a proven failure in communties. It has not stopped bites or kept citizens safe. Education and owner responsibility (model city Calgary Alberta) have shown to be far more effective.
