We have an amstaff / pitbull mix for a family pet. He cuddles us and licks us to show us affection. He has no mean bones in his body. These breeds are people pleased. They want their masters to be happy. If raised and trained properly there is no reason to fear this dog any more than you'd fear any dog or cat for that matter. It is not fair to single out a specific breed as dangerous anymore than it is to single out a race of people as more dangerous than another. Thank you.

I was raised with bully breeds and the only time a dog ever bit me was a neighbours three legged German Shepard whom I knew. Increase penalties for negligent owners sure, but follow the science and stop punishing innocent animals and the responsible families that love him. It wrong
