There should be no discriminations on breeds. There are only bad owners.

Any breed can be vicious and dangerous. It all depends on the owner. Don't blame the dog, blame the owner.

I cant get over the fact that its ok for a yorkshire terrier to bite everyone who comes near and yet that animal isnt considered fierce and dangerous, yet a big dog that steals food is ostricized, and banned. Fierce and aggressive should be for feirce and aggressive dogs. Its not the breed per say so much as the upbringing by the owners. That is where the problem is. Theres always a few irresponsoblempeople that ruin it for the responsible ones.

BSL has never been proved to be workable or effective and has been discarded in most jurisdictions that have tried it.

End this already my goodness. I am a proud owner of a American bully in hrm area. I will never obey any of these rules towards my dog if it ever happens here. My dog shows more respect and love to more people then anyone else that discriminates them. END BLS

Bans shouldn't be put on certain breeds it is not the breed that are the issue it's the person raising them and how they are treated . I personally think it's awful to have a ban made like this.

Pets are family members & deserve to live as such. I actually had my finger bitten off by a British Bulldog and did not blame the dog. That dog also still lives with his owner & I did not pursue charges knowing the dog would likely be put down. All dogs can bite regardless of their breed. But a 9yr old dog that has never bitten does not deserve to be rehomed.

It is crazy to think that politicians can have the power to make someone get rid of their fur child after 9 years! It shouldn t matter what breed it is or isn’t it may be- if a family has a family member no politician should be able to dictate that they rehome because they might do something. Any breed can bite or attack! Don’t discriminate!
