A 9 year old dog, regardless of breed, who has been raised and loved by a family should be allowed to live out it's days with that family.

BSL is nonsense, if the dog had shown any form of aggression then fine but even in the letter it states there has been none. Ruining a family and their dog's lives for nothing.

Breed Specific bylaw bans are ridiculous and outdated, not supported by any actual science or facts... outright ignorance and stupidity on behalf of individuals that voted to pass this bylaw.

This is very wrong and cant be allowed. The dog didn't ask to be a certain breed and if hasn't hurt anyone doesn't mean they will just because of being a certain breed. This has to stop, a dog is precious and should be treated as such not like they are dangerous they aren't.

BSL is horrible. It rips apart families, and causes the unnecessary deaths of thousands of innocent dogs. Its about education, NOT legislation. When I was a child, German shepherds were the "bad guy". Now, the media has latched onto "pitbulls". I put that in quotations since they pretty much label any breed they want as a pitbull these days, even though an actual APBT is damn near impossible to find. Any dog can bite. Golden labs and dachshunds have HIGHER bite records than ANY of these so called "pitbull" breeds. Get your facts straight and learn the truth. Stop punishing a dog because of what another dog has done. Using that precedent, all men should be labelled as murders and child molesters. Its not the individual dog. It is not the individual breed. Start blaming the humans, and not the dogs.

Breed bans are about as uneducated and dumb as those who make them up. Discriminating against a breed of dog because some humans use their qualities for bad is just pathetic. Pitts and Rotts as with all other breeds of dog are no better or wirse then what the human attached to them makes them.
