I wish I knew more about this story, but you want to remove a 9 year old dog from its loving home. Maybe the only home it has known with loving and responsible owners. BSL is cruel and you had to do a DNA test to argue to take this dog. It isn't a mean dog.

This is so sad. How could they just take a piece of your family away. Not an aggressive breed, only some are taught to be aggressive!

This is shameful. Any dog regardless of breed has the potential to be viscous or violent. I for one will not visit or spend my money in the county of guysborough until this is statute is overturned.

This bread is no different than any other they are loyal loving family companions don't take this sweetheart from the only family he will ever love...these beautiful sweet family members deserve love and to stay with there family's/kids

I am so sorry for what you and your family are going through to say that this breed is fierce and dangerous is so stupid any dog will attack it's the way that they are raised not the type of dogs .Makes me so mad when people do this

Breed Specific Legislation is wrong and hurts families. Pit Bulls are among the sweetest, most gentle and loving dogs you could ever meet. And if Pit Bulls are meant to be nasty and mean, mine SUCKS at being a Pit Bull!!

Please reconsider this law! Any dog can be an attack dog because of its training. This family pet was trained to love. The dog in question has done no wrong. Spare it and it’s family, please!

The environment a dog is brought up in is what makes a dog good or bad. Don’t punish good people for the wrong doings of irresponsible pet owners.
