Please prevent further commercial development of Palomar Airport from ruining the residential communities in the area. Turning Carlsbad “village by the sea” into the “industrial complex by the sea.”

I am not opposing commercial flights to and from Palomar Airport. However, I do oppose the size of currently flying and proposed jets.

I lived in Surfridge in the 1960's. My home was condemned thru eminent domain by the city of LA. Remember Surfridge? Yeah you don't because it's the ghosttown that was created by the expansion of LAX in 1969. That's what will happen to Carlsbad. Google "Surfridge LAX" to see our future.

I am completely opposed to this. There is absolutely no logical reason except greed to have these flights coming into a highly populated area.

Why does the expansion continue to move forward despite ongoing efforts and feedback from those of us who live here? Stop the noise! Please.

The voluntary noise abatement program is routinely ignored without consequence. That’s all people need to know. Fool me once…

We live in a 55+ community right under the flight path. The noise from the current commercial flights is very loud and unacceptable. I can't imagine the extra noise created by 8 more additional flights daily. NO NO NO This is just commercial greed and someone is getting paid off to let this continue or expand. NO NO NO

I can even hear the West bound jets take off at 6:30 AM living at the lake in San Marcos. Previously lived in Cbd which was worse.

And please keep the students learning how to fly in the touch and go pattern. We don’t need a crash into houses, we are in an insurance crisis.

The irresponsible flights over residential areas of Carlsbad are the largest detriment to living in our town.
This must be illegal !
