It is our duty to protect ourselves from a corrupt government. By any means necessary.

If this state funded shooting range happens I won't go. I'd rather support local businesses than shoot for free.

The city needs to spend their money on their infrastructure and not take on more than they can handle

Improve the community infrastructure rather than compete with local tax paying businesses.

Why would anyone want a government run version of anything when there's already an existing privately owned version? Especially the city of Clovis! With the additions Patriot is doing this year, it will meet the needs of just about any shooter at no cost to the taxpayer. In fact tax revenue from Patriot along with their involvement in the community clearly benefits us more than a government run range.

I think we have what we need for shooting in Clovis being provided by private business.

Just because the government is giving out money to be used, does NOT mean we have the money to be used. We do NOT & have a debt problem even! Leave the business of operating a firearm range to the professionals that have been doing so successfully for over 10 years! Hate to see tax dollars be wasted on something I'll never use, for safety reasons alone. Govt. will be running it after all. What do they run efficiently? Another waste of tax dollars while debt keeps on increasing, yet we just keep spending. Thought conservative = smaller govt.?

We do not need to spend tax dollars like this. Parks and Recreation can not afford the man hours to keep up what we have now. How much do we have lose before we wake up?

Extremely friendly, professional and smart business. Their safety is second to none and the facilities are great. There should be no reason for this standing business to have to compete with a government facility.

This is outrageous. The governments needs to back down and stop acting like they own everything.

Such a waste of the states money that could be used elsewhere
