This is in direct competition with your local vendors. A wasteful use of tax payers dollars.

Please do not waste tax-payer dollars to build something that already exists/

Use monies to help expand Patriot Outdoors. Does not make sense to compete against a Local owned Business that has already been in business for 10 years. Support Local Businesses, do not push them to close.

Use the money you would spend on this new complex to improve the road to Patriot Outdoors or some other worthy project.

I really don't want to subsidize a governmental entity that competes with private industry. I lose my freedom of choice whenever the government decides how to spend my tax dollars for nonessential government programs.

Better things to spend limited tax dollars on, especially when there is a private business providing a comparable service.

I hate that the city is trying to ruin our lovely park, by putting a gun range right in the middle of our riding trails. The city should worry more about restoring the park, instead trying to compete with local businesses. We already have a gun range at Patriot Outdoors.

Why would the state go into business against an existing successful business. What are they trying to pull? Leave Patriots alone!

The City certainly has better uses for their money. Let's improve what we already have. Some better maintenance on existing facilities. Maybe a walking/jogging/biking path around Hillcrest so the kids don't have to ride in the street.

Our streets need work. Bad. Work on that first.

The range is an excellent place for people to learn how to properly use a gun!

I support the businesses that are vested in our community. We don't want our tax dollars spent to compete with these businesses. Government runs too much in our lives already -stay the Hell OUT.

I like the idea of the range but it should not compete with private business, and I strongly doubt that the city can efficiently and safely run such a facility. Jeff Brooks

Why stop what we all need to learn in this crazy world. The government is not saving us. So we need to learn safety and protection.

After years of not having a private safe shooting range we now have two in Clovis. The government which wants stricter gun control eventually with a complete gun ban again wants to enter the private sector for total control.
