Dear DC Comics,

We don’t want to see Batgirl depicted this way. Please pull the variant cover for Batgirl #41 which features Batgirl and the Joker. The new creative team has made a substantial effort to move Barbara away from past trauma, and this does nothing but force readers to confront it all over again. The response to the new direction has been overwhelmingly positive, don’t squander the good will you have earned by allowing this character to become more three dimensional and relatable. This makes Barbara a victim again, we’re ready for her to be a hero.
