Petition against locating homeless hostel opposite Caludon Castle school

The dangers which this centre presents to young people is unbelievable. It is only a matter of time before something happens.

I have observed the drug dealing and drug use by individuals living at this centre which could potentially risk the children at the school.

I don't understand why this had been allowed.

nooooooo

To protect our children.

lets hope that common sense prevails. I'm appalled that this location was even considered so near a School. I'm watching and wondering why it was shrouded in secrecy, hardly anyone knew. Time for a proper consultation with the people of Wyken

I believe our children will be at risk from the homeless life house directly opposite our school gates. There must be a better location for the vulnerable homeless people to continue their rehabilitation back into society.

Not happy my children go to the school

I'm very disappointed in the salvation army why do they think it's ok opposite a school and putting young teenagers in vonerable situation. There's got to be a better place.

.

This is a senseless idea. Do not open a hostel here!!

Ex-criminals outside a school gate is down right disgusting and totally inappropriate. Any ex con has the privilege these days to start life over again and with some I agree. But the potential dangers of them being right outside a school full of hundreds of children really takes the biscuit. This needs to be stopped BEFORE any mistakes are realized and innocent children are involved

Disgraceful

This is not the place for a hostel, please look for another site.

This is not a good location for the homeless hostel opposite a school, the safety of the children has not been considered.

this would be awful for the kids.

I cannot imagine why you would allow this right in front of a school entrance !!!

Really can't have this near impressionable children who can be easily influenced.

Not the right place to have it right by a school

All for helping the homeless but not the best of locations opposite vulnerable kids..obviously all homeless people are not a danger but there's still going to the odd few that potentially could be and putting kids in a potential dangerous situation is never going to go down well ...think a relocation is needed x
