Please do not close this stretch of the river. This will be detrimental to the local businesses and will discourage people from coming to Havasu/Topack/Needles to enjoy the river and lake!!

Just another example of government over stepping its bounds. The people are clearly speaking.

I am totally against any further closures. You guys need to focus on other things that are going on like the snowbirds that come in and over fish our lake. That is an emergency situation!!!! Please do your job!

Not sure why we are doing this again, seems like last year's petition of 1000+ signatures and the turn out to the 3 meetings should be enough for USFWS to figure out the refuge manager made a huge a mistake. The buoys should be placed to their original location while they figure this out. The USWFS's original justification was a joke, they should put their egos away for a minute and do the right thing. If there is truly a saftey issue- it should be addressed; but closing the area to only Linda and her friend's exclusive use is a enormous misuse of government power. Shame on you USFWS.

Further restrictions to our water ways would cause boater to find other locations for their vacations and potentially bankrupt businesses that are affected by these restrictions. This would be bad for our city and tourism and boaters are a large income support for the city, county, and local businesses.

The continual closing of the river or wild like refuge needs to stop. The sections that have been closed needs to be immediatley re opened. These closures were done not by the people or for the people but for personal reasons. You have to remember that this lake and river is truly owned by the people amd not by the Game and Fish. We the people pay the taxes that allow you to have carrers with that you are entrusted by us the people to do the right thing! That would be the hapoy medium for all to get along and be able to use this lake and river!

Power boats are a way of life and our gorgeous desert lake and river have given Lake Havasu City its impressive tax base by supporting boating for ALL, not just a chosen few.

@USFW, remember you are un-elected public servants! It seems an overwhelming majority of the public, including our elected public officials oppose your restrictions.

Need a solution that allows the lake to be used by all parties! Kayakers/boaters/water sports/fishing and hunting.

Please stop the restrictions as this is a spot that has been enjoyed by many. 99% Of people enjoying the lake are courteous. There no reason why 1 small situation should cause such a drastic change to the economy, and the enjoyment that has been part of Lake Havasu and surrounding area's for years.

I oppose the current and future proposed restrictions on the refuge - when non motorized boaters start paying registration, launch fees and have to use lights at night they will have a better arguement
It is unsafe to only have one lane to access the river under power
