Stop any further restrictions by the US Fish & Wild Services on Lake Havasu and Topock Gorge water way.

35 years vacationing in Havasu. Now a 2 year resident who almost ALWAYS heads up River to relax with family and friends.

What is there reasoning to shutting down the river

An economic analysis of the the fiscal impact on the local economies including employment impacts is needed with this proposal. Keep Lavasu and the Topok Gorge open to safe boating and recreational activities.

Feds already dictate how much of and what we can catch..don't let em tell you where as well

As President of the Colorado Riverfront Property Association our Association is vehemently OPPOSED to the USFWS proposed changes at the Havasu Wildlife Refuge. As you may know, there are already heavy restrictions in the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge and no more are needed. My members are deeply concerned with the overreach of your authority in what was the result of a staged event with Kayakers to call this an emergency. Furthermore, these proposed changes called a “Compatibility Determination” (CD) are being conducted outside of the process required by law. In addition to the expansion of no wake/no access zones into Lake Havasu, USFWS has not complied with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This law was enacted in part to ensure a specific process was used whenever federally controlled public lands and waters had new or modified regulations proposed. At Havasu, this was not done! Our members are very concerned that you are going to ruin their dreams after retiring on the shores of the Colorado river. There is an existing agreement between more than a dozen local, state, federal, and Native American agencies (including USFWS) who have some jurisdiction on or along the Colorado River stating that regulation changes will be discussed by the parties to the agreement at their semi-annual meetings. The proposed addition of no-wake zones/closures by USFWS at Lake Havasu were NOT presented to these groups. There cannot be two sets of rules; one for regulators, and another for the people. Even after more than one thousand passionate citizens showed up last week in Lake Havasu City in opposition to unjustified boating restrictions, the Service continues to blatantly ignore the will of the people. This type of tone deaf bureaucratic behavior has built an unprecedented level of distrust and frustration between the federal government and the American people. It's a public waterway.... I kayak with boats all the time, not a problem, should not be shut because some kayaker can't keep it up right. Should watch a video on how to get back in if you do tip over. All Americans have rights to the waterway.

This is the most absurd thing I've ever seen. I have been fishing in the marsh for 65 years, and I want to continue.

Please let boaters boat in the river. Support fair practices that encourage ALL water enthusiasts to share the space. Thank you.
