Ali express sells defective items , they refuse to fully refund you and always only offer partial refund, Ali express charges you a lower price the first time you purchase a product and then upcharges you up to 25- 200 % mark up after it recognizes you buy the same item.

I tried to buy stuff of this website it's a scam didn't get tried to get a refund then they wanted a pic of the items I bought but I never got it so could not take a picture so they refuse to refund because I couldn't take a picture of nothing or they sent me a screw when it was supposed to be a cabinet then refused to refund it because they wanted me to pay to send the screw back which was twice what I paid for shipping and handling to get it back to them

I have been trying to get a refund for over a year. They have dragged out the whole process. I have videos of packages being opened and damaged without any protection. Pages and pages of documented messages and proof.

Background:
I purchased an item from AliExpress, which was clearly advertised with a “Free Local Returns” policy.
The item arrived defective and not as described.
The seller (AliExpress) acknowledged the defect and initially offered a partial refund, which I declined.
A free local return label was provided through Australia Post but was rejected because the parcel exceeded their 105 cm limit.
I contacted AliExpress support between 6–10 times, requesting an alternative local return method. No workable solution was provided.
AliExpress then refused further assistance and insisted I return the defective item to China at my own cost, which contradicts their advertised policy.
When I escalated the matter to PayPal, AliExpress did not offer any local return options and repeatedly responded with a one-line justification stating that the product (a car part) still has “some value.” It is unreasonable, however, to expect that a defective car part can or should be installed in a vehicle.
PayPal ultimately closed the case in the seller’s favour, citing the lack of an international tracking number — despite the clear documentation I provided showing both the product fault and the breach of the advertised return policy.
While I cannot definitively comment on the internal reasons for PayPal’s decision, I am concerned that commercial interests—such as the competitive relationship between PayPal and Alipay (AliExpress’s parent company)—may be influencing PayPal's impartiality in dispute resolution.
In this case, despite clear evidence of product defect and breach of advertised return policies, PayPal closed the case in the seller’s favour. This raises concerns about whether PayPal is acting in the best interests of its users, particularly in disputes involving large overseas platforms like AliExpress.

These guys are con men. Their buyer protection is BS; they stall until they claim the goods are delivered, even though they haven't been, and then they simply dismiss your case and refuse to help. There's almost no way to contact them, and any email they send cannot be replied to because they block replies and messages won't send. Once they have your money, you're lucky if you receive your goods; otherwise, you have zero chance of recovering them. Does anyone know of any class action lawsuits? I'm in; my money is gone. I've spent a ton of time with no help; they didn't even tell me which logistics company is involved so I could follow up. Zero assistance; their automated system is designed to waste your time and brush you off. they ask you to rate their costomer servive while there is no contact info or anyone to contact with, what so ever. At least not from Canada.

I've had enough of their scams, deceitfulness and and blatant lies. I want to do more than just sign. I've saved many screenshots documenting disputes I've had with them. I'd love to join a Class Action lawsuit against them, if there is one. If there is, please contact me. Thanks
