They are definitely getting over! Charging $70 a month for an empty house where no utilities are not even being used is ridiculous. For a small one bedroom apartment its $170 and we are barely home. Absolutely scam!!

I'm 100% with you all, I'm at work. Could not attend, it's a crime shame tose bill so high, only because they do not have competition. I wish I had a choice with Ga Power. A lot of people's hurting. It's time for a change.

Light bills alone should never be this high especially when there’s no ethical reason behind it. Georgia power has never been like this, there should be an option as to where you decide to go through for your utilities not be forced into an over expensive utility company that can’t even explain why this is happening. It’s sad I have kids I have to take care of but one bill is interfering with everything!

I HATE living in Albany, Ga just because of the high and ridiculous light bill. I use less air and lights BUT yet the bill goes UP a whole 100.00. I can't live and work just to pay for a light bill. This has to stop.

Dougherty county utility rates should be reviewed. They are EXCESSIVE and prohibitive. Many people relocate because of these extreme rates.

The prices are ridiculous! Just because taxes are going up doesn't mean the light have to add well.... But the light bills being higher than usual has been on going for about 5 years. Something need to be done immediately.
