I’ve been in Albany for almost an year but i have only received 2 light bills. I have called and complained about not getting one and even went to the post office. I always receive my other bills or what not but I never get one from Albany utilities. That’s kind of odd to me.

Last 2 months my bill was over $700 and then over $800. We have been here 14 years. Nothing has changed except our electric bill.

These Utility Bills are ridiculous and too high for this city!!! The poor people don't stand a chance. They have to decide either pay it or buy their meds, you already know what the answer is.

I have my elderly mother...I have to use the electricity I use in order for her to live comfortably...but when ur light bill is a 3rd or nearly 1/2 of ur check its added stress

In 2016 I had a 2br w just my daughter and I. I didn’t use the stove and we were barely there due to work and school and my thermostat was always set to 78. My bill was nearly $300 every month. I could barely pay my rent. This was heartbreaking and they truly don’t care. I pray this makes a difference.
