There is absolutely NO place for more of these shops in downtown Glenwood Springs. This must be turned down!

Providence Apothecary believes that the City of Glenwood Springs should encourage and enhance a feeling that our downtown is a family-friendly resort destination. By allowing any additional marijuana dispensaries in the downtown area we would tarnish the image the city has been building for downtown. We believe to improve the city’s nightlife, cleanliness and reduction of panhandling, therefor marijuana dispensaries should be located outside the core of downtown. Please rethink the decision as it could have long-term adverse effect on the image of our town and our local economy.

Steamboat Springs, another family centered mountain town does not allow marijuana shops in the downtown. They didn't want to look like Glenwood. This is a comment we read in their paper when we were visiting.

There are plenty of places if you're in need of marijuana. Please don't ruin the Vaudeville from the horrible scent of the store next door.

Marijuana stores should be regulated the same as liquor stores. There is no need for the number we have today.

I think 5 marijuana retail stores in Glenwood Springs is more than enough in a town geared to family tourism. We don't need any more marijuana operations in the Glenwood Springs core area.

am so concerned that more pot shops and growing facilities are being proposed.
This is not what we voted for. I am against any more facilities in our town....already too many!!!!

We do not need anymore pot shops in Glenwood and this close to the elementary school and the Glenwood Vaudeville

I believe the citizens of Glenwood Springs have been very fair with the consent given to the initial marijuana stores. To continue adding these shops, however, is completely ridiculous. The requests to add even more shops will definitely lead to adverse reactions and impact the status of Glenwood Springs in Colorado. Our town does not need to have jokes in the newspapers and TV about the number of marijuana shops. So far, Glenwood Springs still has a very positive reputation, which we need to preserve.

Legalization was insane to begin with. Just look at the high schools and the fact that already 12% of DWI's in 2014 are stoned.

I am all for legalized marijuana but feel we have enough shops in our small mountain town. They seem to be on every corner already.

I've seen the numbers of children using marijuana skyrocket in our schools. Please don't allow more shops close to our schools within Glenwood Springs City Limits.
