As a physician, I am appalled that we are condoning THC when it is not "our grandmother's weed" but a strong psychotropic drug affecting the brains of our young people! Yale study showed 1 out of 4 habitual users become bipolar. Is this the type of city we want to become?

Stop the madness! We need focus on being a family oriented town not a town with marijuana stores on every corner. I was born and raised in Glenwood and it is extremely sad to see see how our little town has changed from being tourist and family oriented to a pot town.

Enough is enough, the 5 existing stores is more than we need and to add 2 more in the downtown core makes no common sense.

I think "pot shops" should be held to
the same standards as liquor stores applicants who are required to demonstrate to the liquor board a need for a store in locations that are not currently serviced. We presently have plenty of Pot shops located in Glenwood.

Enough is enough. Just as we don't need or allow need liquor stores every other block, we don't need that many pot shops (retail or medical,) either!

Glenwood Springs is a family destination for 2.1 million tourists each year. We have to support the reputation that we have all worked hard to create in our city, and MORE pot shops located downtown is not creating a family atmosphere going forward.

I realize this is now legal in Colorado but we already have enough of these shops in our town. It is already too easy for underage minors to acquire weed and every shop makes it more accepted and appealing to them.

We have lived in glenwood for 8 years. We love it here but have not loved the changes that have come with having legalized marijuana. I love the family feel of this town and feel that is threaded with how many pot shops are popping up. Is this really what we want people coming here for?

We have more than enough "pot shops" and we will no longer sit idle as we are inundated with more and more of these.

We are continuing to endanger our kids with drugs and bringing in more and more "legal" drug stores & facilities just increases the odds of kids getting a hold of something poisonous to their body and mind. Our little city is going to start seeing more and more drugs being trafficked in and we will no longer be a destination for families but drug addicts and other unsavory people.

Glenwood has always been a favorite vacation spot for me and my family. I was also a resident there while attending CMC for 3 years. Glenwood has more than enough dispensaries already!
