Agreed. No more shops, but I find it ironic that Mr. Brady is so adamant against the opening of another one when he and Cooper Wine & Spirits contributes to the struggles of so many. Cheers.

Despite the Applicant's promised efforts to minimize odors and effects to nearby business, the Applicant cannot relocate the elementary school.
This business is approximately 650 feet from GSES property. Seeing these business all around inevitably change Kids attitudes toward the drug leading to increased youth drug use.
Federal law contains enhanced penalties for those who sell drugs within 1,000 feet of a school. In 2012, the federal government raided legal marijuana business in Colorado that were located within 1,000 feet of schools to "maintain drug free zones around our schools and in compliance with federal law." Other than a sales tax money grab, I do not know why the City of Glenwood Springs adopted a policy at 500 feet from schools.
Please vote no to this shop at this location to help protect our kids and don't be an accessory to a federal crime.

There are enough stores now, additional stores take away from the "family atmosphere" of Glenwood Springs.

I support this petition because I think there are enough options for citizens to purchase recreational and medical marijuana in Glenwood Springs.

Thank you for this petition! It is inappropriate for more pot creep to happen in downtown Glenwood Springs, especially into residential neighborhoods. Enough! Can we have a ban on edibles in GWS. So dangerous for children. State is not labeling...

It's getting out of hand. There should have been a cap on how many were allowed in GW. You shouldn't have to smell it while driving behind Target. It's strong.

I feel this market is already saturated enough in this town. Also this is really close to the grade school. I feel we are projecting the value in our children that says this drug is okay for them to do.

Totally inappropriate for this pot shop to be next door to a family-themed GWS offering like the Vaudeville Revue. Absolutely should not happen.
