I strongly oppose this zoning change which will negatively effect the character and livability of our neighborhood.

This is the first I have heard of this proposal. Is it already a fait accompli? or still on the drawingboard?
Either way, a very bad idea....

This parcel should be designated one/two family residential much like the rest of the neighborhood. There is no justifiable reason for a classification otherwise.

It doesn't belong. It doesn't fit. Given it's history, it reeks of political deal at a higher level.

A large building would substantially alter the character of this historic neighborhood and severely impact parking and associated infrastructure. A better idea is to allow construction of single family row houses more consistent with the existing architecture and nearby buildings.

I support the concerns of this petition. The citizens of Albany spent many hours with the comprehensive planning of 2030 getting it the way the citizens want their neighborhood and now Mayor Sheehan want to change all of it and do another "rezoning". No way.
