For all the reasons stated this is a bad idea, for the environment and the greenhouse gas emissions the government is so concerned about these days.

I'm totally against destroying the Conservation land next to Thoreau's birthplace. The negative impact of pollution and noise is also a violation to people's health.

My wife and I agree with the previous commentators that this is an environmental no brainer.

If it's not one entity, it's another entity that wants to corrupt Walden's beauty!!

There are numerous negative environmental impacts to expanding Hansom - air pollution, noise pollution, habitat disruption. Why would we allow this at a time when we are trying to cut fossil fuel use and save our planet? And for what - so the super rich can use their private jets?

the damage of this development will be widespread and the project's goal is meeting the needs of a very small group.....too much destruction of an area that is vital to many of us.

The Hanscom private jet facilities near Walden Pond are planning a major expansion which would mean yet more private jet take offs and landings. Already there are too many flights coming in and out of Hanscom. We need to stop this from getting a green light from the state.

The horrible impacts of this development on climate change, biodiversity and climate change amelioration, groundwater recharge, functioning wetlands and its impact on environmental Justice communities, other neighbors and wildlife could never be worth the benefit of the private jet owners, users, FBOs and their fuel companies. Sacrificing so much for the benefit of so few isn’t good development, policy or common sense!
